Across the Pond

Across the Pond is an acoustic trio, specializing in folk music from Ireland, England, Scotland, the US, and Quebec. We got our start playing together at various places in Denver's thriving Irish session scene. Traditional music sessions (seisiúns) go way back in music history with humble beginnings around kitchen tables, on front porches, and in pubs. They are informal get-togethers of musicians who sit down and play for the love of the music. Traditionals sessions are not performances and nothing is rehearsed. We just share tunes, songs, and stories for the fun of it. Across the Pond takes the relaxed elements of a pub session into a performance setting. We love the stories behind the tunes and good craic.
